'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

  

St. Johns students wore pajamas to school for a comfy, cozy day before Christmas Break.

December's Special Events

On December 13th, the second and third graders of St. Johns helped teach us and celebrate St. Lucy's Day.  In a Swedish tradition, the oldest girl in the family awakens before the rest of the household to don the costume seen above.  She will then wake her family with a plate of treats.

The first grade class joined with the second and third graders to create posters as props for our song in the Christmas Program.  The Program, held on December 19th, will include special readings, hand bell tunes, and vocal arrangements.

First Grade Plays Santa

First Grade attended Santa's Cottage today.  Thank you to all of the families of St. Johns School who donated time, talent, and treasure to make this project possible!
