Stations of the Cross

First grade participated in an outdoor Stations of the Cross set up by Mrs. Hrabusicky.  We traveled the Way of the Cross from St. Johns to the cemetery and back.

We Love Mrs. Ganey!!

All of St. Johns wore pink today to support Mrs. Ganey and breast cancer research.  Fight like a Jaguar!

African Safari

First grade visited the 5th and 6th grades' museum exhibition entitled "African Safari".  We learned about domestication, surplus, and trading.

This Week in First Grade...

 Mr. Vehlewald showed us how coins have changed over the years and how coins from different countries look different and have different values than American money.

Representatives from Memorial Hospital showed us that going to the hospital doesn't have to be scary.
