First Grade helped beautify our school on Earth Day by planting new flowers in our planter boxes. We can't wait for our butterflies to congregate at the "Monarch Cafe"!

Happy Days in First Grade!

| Thanks to Mrs. Pat Hurst's generous donation, we have many new books to enjoy! |

| We have been using the writing process to create stories that take place in the future. This week we published them using the program MyStoryKit. |

| After studying needs and wants in Social Studies class, the First Graders were given $6 and visited the "store". They realized that they must buy the things they needed first and if there was money left over, they could by the things they wanted. |
