A Fun and Busy Week!

First Grade is starting a new unit on informative writing this week.  Here, the students take a book walk to determine which animals they would like to research and write about.

K/1 also engineered bridges that would bridge a one-foot gap between desks out of marshmallows and toothpicks.

After studying models in science class this week, K/1 created their own out of marshmallows and toothpicks!

Catholic Schools Week

Last week was Catholic Schools Week, where Catholic schools across the nation celebrate the benefits of going to a parochial school.  We celebrated with many fun activities.  See just a few below:
