As part of our Social Studies unit on Native Americans, First Grade made Tlingit totem poles, Iroquois clay pots, and Seminole bead necklaces this week.

Congratulations to Sara for her Perfect Attendance in the 3rd Quarter!  Congratulations to Hunter for earning the B.U.G Award!  The B.U.G. (Bringing Up Grades) Award goes to students who show improvement in one or more subjects from quarter to quarter.

The First Grade students created stories of forgiveness and acted them out with the animal puppets they made.

First Grade also learned how to count coins and played a game called Money Bingo on the computers.
